Do you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of underprivileged youth? Do you want to have fun doing it? Planning non-profit events and fundraisers gives you the opportunity to host galas, golf tournaments, and so much more, all while raising money to create a positive change in a child’s life. Founded in 1991 to enhance, enrich, and meet the needs of Florida’s children, families and communities during critical out-of-school hours. ASP was founded with the explicit mission of creating and implementing national models of high-quality, academic-focused, and personally enriching out of school time programming. For over twenty two years, ASP has worked to improve student achievement and help children reach their fullest potential by providing innovative learning programs during before and after school, holidays and summers. To date, we have reached over 7,000 students and only continuing to grow!

We are offering one unpaid, part-time internship position in our development department that will get you behind the scenes at our biggest fundraisers and events. You will be working directly with the Grant and Community Outreach Coordinator, as well as the rest of the ASP team. This is an exciting position that will give you the skills to plan and execute a productive and fun-filled non-profit event.

The position is part-time --- 10 hours per week, for a period of 3-6 months.  The schedule will be tailored to fit the availability fo the best applicant.  Start date:  ASAP!
